Community Campus

Community Campus is a virtual campus that embraces different sectors of Northumbria University and Voluntary/Third Sector Organisations. It is a place where information about research, evaluation, continuing professional development and open seminars/events/lectures can be found and exchanged.

Working in the areas of:
• Ageing
• Disability
• Community Development
• Social Enterprise
Community Campus seeks to:
• Build Sustainable Partnerships
• Stimulate New Activities
• Enhance Knowledge Exchange
      and Community Practice

The current areas of focus are:

Evaluation its purpose and application
Learning strengthening the exchange of knowledge between communities and universities, students and the workplace.
Collaboration building accessible, practical and inclusive structures that work towards building a strategic vision
Development bringing together information, provision, training and applied research in practical outcomes

If you register ( there is no payment for this) you can set up a site for your organisation  - you will be the manager for this site
