International Course: Participatory Social Research
(PSR Course)

Participatory forms of research are increasingly common in the fields of health, social welfare, and education but there are few opportunities to engage in learning about this approach.
This course will enable participants to:
- be familiar with the origins of participatory social research in their own country and internationally
- be confident of the defining characteristics of participatory social research and the underlying theories and concepts that inform this approach
- design and implement a participatory research project within their own field of interest
- interpret critically the findings of participatory research projects for application in their field of interest.
